Tracks?

These were out back. What made them? I couldn't see actual prints inside the tracks. They abruptly stopped or started at my neighbors fence.

Cat tracks. If it was a squirrel there would be double prints as the squirrel jumps. They don't walk in a straight line like that.

Look closer, there's a double in each one as it lands. That's a hopping squirrel. See how the snow is pushed up in front of the track as he lands.

I watch the squirrel lay them in fresh powder around here all the time going from Oaks to fences and vice versa. They make a be-line between them. Pretty confident in my assessment.

After looking on my computer monitor and looking at that first pic I'm sticking with my guess.
