Trap Tags.

Wanted to tell you guys about an awesome service I found when looking for state required trap tags. I bought 50 brass stamped tags from www.traptags.com for $13 with free shipping. They're stamped and not engraved. He also has copper and you can get them with one or two holes. Best deal I've found online and it's an Ohio business up in West Unity. Ordered them last weekend and had them Thursday.

Those tags are a no-brainer. For 13. it's not worth the hassle of the others. I know I'm old..... but we used to get them for 6.00 delivered....LOL 100 was only 11.00!

Leave em hanging by the holes they’ll chew em off, and you will have to replace tags every catch. Roll them around the chain about 3 links up from your snap ring or quick link or snare. Nobody has to be able to read them except the man and at that point they can unroll it.

Tried that last year and it was a pain in the ass to make them and they weren't very durable.

I have the copper tags and I think they are from the same guy? I bought these back in the early 90's.

Yep same guy. Postmark says I got them in 1995.

I ended up rolling them around one side of a link and wiring them to the other. The law says readable at all times.. Well they can unroll it and read it at all times anytime they want.
