Trespassing Coyote

I let Carrie Anne (A female 9 lb. Maltese) out to chase a squirrel, in the back yard, this morning. As she was coming back in, I noticed a coyote watching her and approaching quickly.

He had a hungry look in his eye. So, I fed him a 55 gr. Hornady V-Max from my Savage 22-250. Nothing messes with my little girl!

Dropped him on the spot!!!

The photos above are while he was still "pretty".
As of now, he's missing some dental work. I borrowed his K9 teeth to make a necklace, later.
I don't think he'll mind....he wasn't using them anyway.
