Trip to Cabelas

With the wind whipping and not much to do outside, Kody and I decided to go to Cabelas and spend his gift card money on his first official deer hunting bow.
He picked out a PSE Rally.

We also ran into Ron (FullBore) and shot the shit for awhile. Good seeing ya buddy!

He shot a Diamond too. Looked like a nice bow, but he liked the PSE better. He liked the Diamond until he shot the PSE. Then he immediately said "I like this one".

The Diamond was very light. That was nice. Dang PSE's are heavy!
But the PSE was much quieter and he said "softer feel".

Now both boys have good bows. I bought Hoyt's bow (Austin's old one) for Klay after the Strouds hunt. Looks like we are set for the next TOO shoot.

Yeah that was really cool running into you and your son Mike! What a great place TOO be, also! Ric was speechless more or less when you answered my phone. Lol. My daughter and I had a great time together and have a pretty good idea on her next bow. Her B-Day is in June and she is really interested in archery, so Dads happy. Looking forward to the bunny hunt Too!
