Truck Opinions....

I do like my GMC 1500 AT4. Matter of fact we have decided that when we replace my wife’s vehicle she is going to take it and I will buy a 2500 version. Have a little less than 80k on the clock. Only issue I have had has been with the tail gate radio. Ended up not being the truck causing the issue. It was a buddy’s trailer was wired wrong and I kept burning the radio up every time I would use his trailer. GM was pretty good to deal with. They replaced the radio twice under warranty. They also put in an extra inline fuse to save any additional issues. Extended all electronics warranty an extra 2 years just in case.

I do have one open recall and one TSB that I need to make an appointment for. Both are unique to the 3.0 duramax. TSB is a software update to fix #6 glow plug sensor issue. The recall is for transmission valve. Premature wear causing rear wheel lock up on some trucks. GM has been messaging me regularly reminding me to make an appointment. Guess I should do it soon.

Or just quit tinkering with the stock version of what you bought 😂
Vehicles are like buying hotdogs. Sure you could just eat it plain, but what is the fun in that. Gotta make it your own. Cook it up, toast the bun, cover it in sauerkraut, jalapeños and mustard. Make it something. Maybe make the next one covered in chili and cheese.

Doesn’t that same hotdog give you the shits afterwords? 😂
