Truck Tires

Hey guys. I am going to be needing some new tires for my truck, mud/off road style. I currently have Mickey Thomson "Baja ATZ" "MT with side biters", 35 x 12.50 R20LT. Well those things are priced out of this world and I am trying to find something similar for less money. Any suggestions?? Also when I do look at pages for tires I can't seem to match up my current ones with other brands. Help.

I have the TOYO MT's 35x12.5x18 on my truck and like them a lot. I think their priced @$300 apiece, probably not much different than what you already have.

Yup, TOYO! Worth the money and I wouldn't buy any other mud terrain tire for a daily driver truck.

Basically none if you keep them rotated. The quietest M/T I've ever owned.

I really do not go muddin or off road other then some of these lease roads to get to the rig. I like the look of the mud tires on my truck that is jacked up with the Rock Ridge Package. If I put "Highway" tires on I would look like a yuppie / homo. lol.

One of the Rig hands has Cooper Discover STT Pro's on his that look nice but again $$$$$$

And the amount of rock chips would go up dramatically with an A/T tire on those roads.

With the current tires I don't have rock chips but I have some "sandblasting" on the under neath back panels where the fender flares end.

I have mastercraft courser mxt... they are a good tire for me so far(have only had then since march)... they are a little more aggressive than i was looking for nut they were prices right. I paid 204 per tire on 285-75-16.

I like those as well, but would go without the white lettering. Ok, I am a dumb AZZ..... you mentioned the size was 285-75-16 but when I go on line and look for tires, mine say 35 x 12.50 R20 LT and I can't find a match. How the hell do I figure the size based on what is on my tire?? I am dumb with this crap.

They have conversion tables all over the web. 285/75/16 is around a 32x11x16...that's by memory. All tires are different also. Just because yours says 35x12.5x20 doesn't mean it is...and the next brand could be 2" taller. BFG is the worst about this and is the worst tire IMO.

Ok Giles, So I go back to my dumb azz question, if I was to order the tire I need how the hell do I figure it out if what is on my tire will not calculate out properly? I only have like 3- 4 days off. I need to get these cuz my one tire is not holding pressure. Guess I just need to call around and put it on their shoulders and hope they can get em for me fast.
