Turkey poult in November!!

Hunting in my home state of New Jersey and today, 11-14-17, had some gobblers, hens (2 bearded) and two poults come into the bait. The bait is for deer, not the turkeys, but you know how they are! The picture was enlarged so that you can see one of the poults better. I’m guessing the poults to be around 5 weeks old. Anyone ever seen turkey poults this late in the year?

Turkey poults here in Ohio at 5 weeks are about the size of pigeons. Can't tell from the picture for sure but it looks alot bigger than a pigeon.

Late season or just a screwed up (genetically speaking) bird?

Definitely late nesting season...both poults are half fuzz, half feathers...brown in color and about the size of a bantam chicken.
