Unbelievable!

With the buck in the second still photo he is turned (front) with his back leg kicked out behind him making the arrow appear that it is sticking out at a different angle. I bet if you was straight on behind him and the buck not turned like he is, I bet the arrow would be tucked up right along his body.

I also agree with Gern. That buck might be alive now but hard to say if he will fully recover enough to survive the winter.

Either way that is still amazing and still sucks.
 
That is a kill shot in anyones book. Strange things happen though in the deer hunting woods.
 
Now that I've seen the video Tom I don't think you got much penetration. Quartering away shot with a mechanical head doesn't seem to be a good combination. Don't take that as a shot against you im just saying. Also in the video I could see that your arrow/bow wasn't tuned greatly. You can see the sway with the lighted nock that had a big impact on penetration as well. Sorry you didn't get him!
