Not sure if this is well known or not, but I figured I'd post it. With money being tight these days it can't hurt and might help.
Below is a link to an ohio.gov site that will take you to a central search page where you can look for unclaimed property/funds in Ohio and other states. I recently used a similar site for NC (NCCash.com) and got a check for 42.00 from Time Warner Cable. I haven't lived in NC for a decade. Its not much, but it will pay for my draw hunt applications. lol
Sometimes the hoops you have to jump through to prove who you are and claim the funds isn't worth it, but in others its just as simple as filling out an online form. You might want to skip putting in a city so you see statewide entries for your name.
