Usta go a lot

I prefer Paint, can walk over to the lake from the campground.

Probably just need to start another thread, see who all is interested. I don’t know how many I can reserve for my price, I’ll have to look into that.

The campsites right by the cabins are some of the best. They have a large fire area in the woods behind the campsite. I don't remember the site numbers but will try to looks at the map. It will be a good area for us.

I’m going to drive out there in a little bit. There’s a killer site down in the corner, biggest site in the campground. It’s on the backside and has a trail back to a crappie hole. Plenty big enough for a good fire and corn hole boards. Shower house up the hill.

I’ll look at those as well, I’ve never stayed in that area. We prefer being off the main drive.

If we are going to do this, I would think we would want to do it soon, might start filling up fairly quickly. Just a thought. Giles, if you are going to make the call, I would tell them to expect quite a few tent campers in the area as well, that way we could all be together as much as possible. But starting a thread to get a decent head count would be a good idea.

Yes off the main drive, that way we arent bothering other campers, but also plenty of room for parking trucks and setting up tents.

I only stayed on the back side once so I don't know much about it. I know there are some good spots. I think I know exactly which spot you are talking about. There are a few that have nice trails right to the lake back there.

Don't be surprised if that gate is still locked though this time of year. I know they used to close that side off November 1st and not open it back up until March or so.

I’ll go full Duke boys on that gate...
