Valentine's Day cards, love of your wife, and other random thoughts

So there I am, standing in Krogers in the flower section in Canal Winchester on my way over to the wife's work and to give her the traditional flowers, and I hear "your wife wants the roses"! I turn around and there she is, on an errand for her office. Damn surprise is ruined! So, ok I get a dozen and take them to her clinic and next thing I know she hands me my first ever Valentines gift (married 13 years), it's small and I open to a tear of joy. A Cabela's gift card for opening day!!! Yeah me!!!!!:smiley_clap:

I sent Diane several Valentine Emails this morning for when she got up. Then she got a dozen roses and a dozen mixed flowers this evening, ZJ got her a box of her favorite mint cookies. She brought me pulled pork and chocolate chip cookies!

Now THAT is a good Valentine's Day present! Hopefully your luck continues into the night. lol

I looked at papers, numbers, wrote checks, shuffled the keys around on the computer, and was about ready to bleed out of my eyes this afternoon. Told my wife I needed to clear my mind. Spent two hours on the quad working field edges for sheds. Came home muddy with no sheds but my wife did the annual V Day dinner. My 8 year old son called it "romantical". Dimmed the lights, lit some candles, red table cloth, wine glasses she had filled with candies for all, 2 bottles of sparkling cider, and a delicious home cooked meal. She had cards for all of us as well. I opened mine to find a Bass Pro gift card. I wouldn't have shared, but Sticknstring's story left me compelled to share it. Now we are watching a movie as a family (okay, I am on TOO because I don't like the movie lol). Maybe this Valentine's Day stuff is alright. My wife and I had our moments, shared cards, and hugs. The kids felt like they had a special "romantical" dinner. The day isn't really any different, just feels different because my wife put in the effort to make it different. Yeah, I got a good one.

Well, I survived. The old woman was only waiting for her husband to go get the car, so I got to sit down. So there's your answer Rick... NO ! I was gonna take some pics of some of the goobers standing around & post 'em here, but the one gal with big tits sticking halfway out of her dress & her black boots kept staring at me. I was really counting on that pic....lol

Just trying to let you know survival rate was probably pretty good. Glad to see you lived through the dreaded one day a year thing. :smiley_clap:

All in all it was a good vday. Stopped by the bar to shoot a quick game of pool on our way home. That turned out to b pretty depressing. lol. Lots of lonely souls in that place drowning their sorrows.

That reminded us how good we have it with each other.

Never a bad thing to be reminded!
