I find good old fashioned scouting to be the best attractant. Don't expect deer to alter their travels (in the day light) for an attractant. I don't think they will unless it is someplace they feel VERY secure. That said, if you have a place like this, I would imagine Tom's product could be effective. I just don't see anything pulling them into your back patio. lol
