BTW, that's a hell of a box J! Can you fit anymore shit in it?! Lol, is that one metal for just being old? I don't recognize a few of them. I've also never seen a dark box like that, what kind of wood is that? Cherry?

Black walnut that I helped cut down, hauled logs too a buddies sawmill and then hauled the rough cut boards back too another buddies place over 10 years ago....
Thought it was very fitting approach of them lol....
After so many deployments you just lose track of what was earned on the ribbon rack..... Got a rip on the back just too remind me lol....
Box was built by coworkers and assembled by a hydro guy I worked with.... Just had breakfast with him this morning....

Thanks to all of you who have served!! I was too much of a pussy to enlist but to those who have and are currently you have my utmost respect and gratitude!
That just screams sentimental… Very nice touch indeed! Thats one of the best ones I've seen. Does it have and crazy marbling or anything? I made a hell of a homework table for my kids a couple years ago and pics do it zero justice. I might try and get a pic to share anyways, it's one of my pride and joys. We had in insurance guy appraise it and it's insured for $4,850, not sure how he came up with that number. Beautiful shadow box Sir!
It has decent grain too it but the sentimental value is what it was all about... A lot of sweat went into that wood lol.... Multiple trees and they were about 36" dia.... Little did I know back then I'd own a piece of it.... I was just helping a buddy/coworker out....
