He was removed from the bench one night and a sign put in his place saying "out for maintenance " lmao....
He ended up in our commanders office and the next morning was priceless lmao.... He said he wasn't mad lmao.... Oh he was pissed lol
Gave me the death stare when I laughed at him.... I was retiring and at that point everything was funny to me .....

2014... May thru September..... I retired in May of 2015....


The Ronald McDonald incident was somewhere towards the end of the trip, part of the rational was there wouldn't be time to do much damage to anyone lmao....

If we'd ever had more time I'm sure we would have defaced it in some way. Lol. The longest amount of time I spent there was just a few days. My last flight out was in '13 and it was dead there.

Until Mount Sinji happened we were dead as well.... They were talking about shouting it down to all but transit.... But when ISIS started taking a strong hold it was a boom for Salem....
We had Army special forces everywhere for a moth and a half just working out and doing drills.... They were strangely ecstatic when we were flying them out when we got the call...
I just wished we could of viewed the footage of all that when down.... I heard it was awesome too see....

I have a friend with SF that was there, hated sitting in Kuwait but loved Iraq when he went back. Lol. I never like sitting around either.

These kids were as they said it "be pissed if they land and can't kill anyone"..... I just said watch what you wish for.... From my understanding they got their wishes....
Flights in and out doing the airdrops were pretty wild from what we were told as well.... Hell of a show with 15's and 18's clearing the way and the 130 gun ships really let lose with a lot of ordinance.... I got some 20MM rounds for souvenirs....

Lol yeah they sure enjoy trigger time! One of my best friends is an operator, he absolutely loves it.
