BRCC closed the distance of 20 years this veterans day and gave us this documentary. A Band of Brothers in our time without the Hollywood crap. They lace pics and vids of the unit at the time with comradery and emotional narrative looking back on this mission from mid-life.
It's a tough watch, regardless if you were there, saw combat or lost folks in the GWOT. Two of my close friends had sons that made it thru Fallujiah. One didn't make it back from Iraq but had this to say in his last letter home about fighting alongside other warriors in Fallujiah.
Lance Cpl. Darrell J. Schumann, ‘I do wish America could see how awesome a job we are doing over here without it being construed by the media. It’s really an honor to be fighting alongside these men.’

American badass and great person. Previous Commander of the 1st Special Operation Wing down here at Hurlburt, tells how she got her moniker. Worked with her when updating capabilities on the AC-130 models.

Not sure you or someone you know was effected by the DoD's CoVid termination policy. 2020-Yesterday. Of course it'll take time while they work thru the mechanics of how members will be reinstated, but for those wrongly dismissed from the volunteer force this is good news. The rest is good news as well but the reinstatement might turn a former service members life around.
- President Donald Trump signed four executive orders on Monday night targeting the Department of Defense. The changes include restrictions on transgender service in the military and the termination of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices at the Pentagon.
- One of the executive orders directs the military to create an Iron Dome missile defense system to shield the United States from aerial threats. Another order makes reinstatement with full back pay available for all members of the military who were fired for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
