I am still in somewhat disbelief, but I didn't see a single Dam deer the whole time I was there, absouletely nothing.. That was a nice chunk of time and money wrapped up to not even see a deer. My buddy managed a tiny ( I mean TINY) doe last night, but he didn't have much luck other then that either. Two guys camping close to us who were there before I got there on Wednesday said they had only seen one deer between the two of them all week. Granted the weather could have been better for the first couple days but still, zero deer in a state that is overpopulated with them, really? Go's right in par to the slowest season of my entire hunting career. Highlights of trip were hearing grouse drumming, seeing turkey, and hearing that the Michigan skumbags riding 4wheelers illiegally last year ended up getting busted in a big way.
