WA Waterfowl 2012-2013

This is were ill be keeping log of all my Washington waterfowl hunts.
Today was the first morning we hunted this season. We only bagged three ducks 2 ringnecks and 1 wood duck. I've wanted a wood duck for a long time so this bird is going straight to the taxidermist. We have a few issues we need to work out before our next hunt. mainly the small hole that developed in my buddies john boat during the off season. we fixed it with spray foam during the hunt.

Wood ducks are just awesome. Love those birds. Plus they're some of the best eating around! Hoping to get out this week one morning and knock a couple down.

Good for you. Iv been wanting to not destroy a wood duck to get mounted also. Maybe this year. Nice job.
