Since this gun has no sentimental value to me, I'm totally restoring it. Today I dissembled it, de-greased it and then soaked the action and guts in evapo-rust. OMG, it looks brand new. After a good rinse and dry, I coated everything with a good synthetic.

It all looks amazing. I stripped the old varnish off the stock and foregrip with Mosenbockers in five minutes. It's now got 4 coats of tung.
