I am currently looking for some waterfowl hunting spots, public or if you know a private spot that I can try and get permission then even better, as late season is about to open. Would like to stay within an hour or so of Cincinnati and be in Ohio. Not opposed to Indiana and Kentucky but I’ve bought North Dakota and Wisconsin license already this year (amazing hunts btw). Got out of waterfowl hunting 10+ years ago, had a few buddies wanna get into it so I came out of retirement and fell back in love. Thanks!

Welcome to TOO!! I don't know places in SW Ohio, but I'd scout areas along the Ohio River as well as all the tributaries feeding into it. With some time and gasoline you'll be finding birds to hunt before long. Then just knock on doors and ask for permission when you find birds feeding in fields. There's no real shortcuts to it, just hard work with a little luck sprinkled in. It won't be like North Dakota, but you can pull together some decent hunts in Ohio. Good luck!!
