Well crap...

Believe me, I know! :) I had been peeking apparently, lifting my head on release. You would think these things would be obvious, but sometimes you just don't see the forest for the trees.

Hey, Glad to help! Man I'm sweating it though. I didn't hunt this weekend and stayed home to take care of stuff around the house. Next week I'm headed to NC for a conference and won't be back until Thursday night. I'm planning on hunting on Saturday and I'm concerned about how not shooting for a week will affect my shooting. Times like this are when I wish I had Geezer's bow sighted in.

Those are some great tips. My number one mistake lately is not anchoring correctly. It causes my arrow to go about 6 inches high at 15 yards, and i know ive done it immediatly after release.

Drives me nuts. But the more i shoot the less it happens

Maybe you better spend a day or two dialing that thing in! I know he wouldn't have given you a bow that was out of tune -at all- so setting pins should be a snap! Then again, draw your recurve, focus, and let down a couple of times is usually all it takes to get "game ready". Safe travels, and I'll be looking forward to your next hunt!

All I need to do is adjust the peep and redial the sights. Shoot I could probably be ready in under an hour. I don't know, I mean after all I'm a kook aid drinking elitist now... :)
