Dang Mike!! That sucks a big donkey dick. By the time week six roles around your leg will be itching like a mofo. Let me know if there is anything mom or I can do for you guys.

Thanks dad! I know it's going to itch! I'm definitely not looking forward to it!!

Do not itch it once you get out of that cast! I broke both my arms about 9 years ago at the same time believe it or not. My arms/wrists were so itchy by the end of the 8 weeks that I couldn't wait for that cast to be off. Well they took it off and I just started to rub them not even scratch and the skin was so tender and soft that just the running alone caused the skin to start to fall off and I look down and notice blood all over my arms, hands, and dripping on my pants. Lessoned learned with that. Once you get those off don't scratch! Hopefully you will heal soon!

Just in time! How's your strength and mobility? It was a battle when I broke mine.

It's not bad! It seems I have lost a little strength in that leg but it's getting easier to walk on! I walked on it all day yesterday. When I first took the boot off I couldn't really get my leg to move all that well and was afraid to walk on it! Lol

I know the feeling. When they cut my cast off and put the boot on, it felt dead when I tried to stand on it.

When they removed a cast off of my arm years ago, the initial gravity and not being supported hurt worse than when I broke it..... After a few minutes it was fine.... Washing it for the first time was a little different as well lol....
Glad you're getting back too normal and none too soon.... lol
