Well whatcha y'all get????

I got to see how much my entire family loves me..
I got the chance to help someone and make their life better....
I got to realize today I have the windows rolled down and the radio turned up.... on life.....

Good deal brother.

I got to sleep in and enjoy a great meal with my mom, dad, and sister today. Sitting at the in-laws now. Ended up with a bunch great sauces, hot condiments and hot pickles from my mom to go along with our $100 gift card to Wally World. The in-laws gave me $50 and Tiger Woods 2012 for XBox. Still haven't opened the wife's stuff yet since she worked all day. Been a great day overall!!!

I got a docking station for my IPhone, some clothes and a book I wanted( I hadn't asked for it but my son and I had talked about it several months ago he remembered).

But the best part is having all the kids home. They are moving on with their lives and getting pretty far from home so I'm appreciative of the time we have together.

Great day round my parts!! Tons of good food and family. I got the CVA optima. Some cash and cabelas gift cards. I'm saving them all to put towards a safe in the future. Also got a small closet safe.

Got to see the kids faces light up with excitement digging in to there goodies. It killed me the oldest that does not beleve was the first up 4am, but who doesnt like gifts..lol. For me my kids got me a bad assed mad bomber hat that i have been eyeballing, they will regret it after i wear it every place i take them:smiley_crocodile:

I told my wife not to go all out stupid on me this year. She has a tendency to go over the top. Well, she DID go over the top for our kids and her nephew who is with us. Seeing them was plenty. I gave my Dad a working double barrel for his mantle. He has wanted one and shopped for them, but would just never commit to spending the money on one. I know he would have NEVER spent the money on one so I did it for him. The bear hug he gave me said it all. Not that we don't hug, but sometimes that extra tight squeeze where they hang onto the hug for an extra couple seconds says more than words ever could.

As for me, well, I got more than I deserved in the reactions of my wife, kids, and Dad this year. I tried to make my Cabelas Wish list not so "wanting". Tried to go more practical. $10 Drury DVD, Hunters Specialties rattle bag/True Talker II combo for $15, and some cheaper gifts this year. I did put the Caldwell Lead Sled on there as well just in case she felt like spending a bit more. She did. Got the Lead Sled, True Talker II, AND some slippers/lounge pants (not cabelas), as well as a gift card for Cabelas from my parents, a 1/4 zip mock turtle neck pullover from my sister in Max4 camo, and several other gifts from various family members. The usual gift cards to go out to dinner, some Rocky base layers I had asked for, and various smaller gifts. All in all, I am very blessed and didn't deserve all I got but I am thankful for them. I am happy living he life we live. We ate like kings. Our house is warm. Our vehicles are dependable. Nothing is really over the top, but we have what we NEED.

Watched the kids in the church Christmas program. Felt like a roadkilled and bloated raccoon in the middle of the summer last night after eating all day. Now I am getting the kids tucked in and letting the sweeper truck warm up. I am going to go out and work tonight to give one of the guys the night off. It will feel good to be out working knowing my family is at home, warm, safe, healthy, and happy while I am putting bread on the table.

I am really fortunate and have in-laws who go way over the top. I got a good amount in gift cards for cabelas and a local shop. Big gift for my wife and I is a 55" Samsung LED tv.

Heading to my parents tomorrow.

Nice TV huntn2...don't hit it with the vacuum cleaner. You can tell your little lady I suggested that you just didn't do any vacuuming to stay extra safe...

The wife and I don't get each other a whole lot and focus on the kids. She did pick me up a nice Steeler dress shirt for work and two really nice picture frames for my class wall. One says "daddy's little girl" and the other says "the boys". Just perfect!

My in laws gave me a gift card for Dicks which always comes in handy.
We always tell them not to worry about us and spend on the kids.

My parents always give us a nice "bonus". I'll leave it at that. It's a big help!

The best part was definitely watching our kids excitement. The wife called me as I was leaving work at 0700 and said that they were up and ready to go. I made the 30 min drive in about 20 lol. "Santa got my son a crossbow and a ruger 10/22 as his big items. Man that boy is happy! I got some clothing, gift cards and a GPS. The secret Santa gifts from the kids were priceless. I truly didn't want anything as I feel that I have it all with a wonderful wife and 2 awesome kids! What a great day even though I'm running on coffee fumes right now, lol.

I got a internet tablet, a treestand lifeline, a kuerig coffe maker, programmable crock pot, some fitted hats and a bunch of other stuff. My sister makes my parents a calendar with pics she takes over the year. She got me some picture frames, and made up some pics for the house.

They were one of my favorite gifts. This is one of my dads, my two nephews and me on the right...

I had a Great Christmas. More food than anyone could ask for and a house full of Children and Grandchildren and everyone seemed to get along. Couldn't ask for more. Diane found the Camo Under Armour Hoodie I've been wanting the most. Then I got several nice pieces of clothes from Legendary Whitetails (Expensive but they have great quality clothes) Including lounging pants with trophy bucks all over them. A Rivers Edge stand-up deer TP holder......What they trying to tell me with all deer gifts? Plus, our Christmas is Christmas Eve and again today with her Parents, so I got to hunt last evening and shot a button buck in the head with the crossbow! Thought it was a doe and even studied it's head with the scope before shooting......would have sworn it was a doe.......Reguardless....Very Short Tracking Job and meat in the freezer.....I'd say my Christmas was one of the Best Yet!

Programmable crock pot is tits man, I'm tellin' ya! Wife will put dinner in it in the morning, we both go to work and come home that evening to a heavenly-smelling house and dinner ready to roll.
Dude you're gonna love it! :smiley_coolpeace:

My favorite thing this year was not the gifts I got but the ones I gave - my gift choices were all really well received, all the right sizes, and made folks really happy. The only thing that didn't cut the mustard were a couple of mock-turtleneck tops I got for my mom...I thought she'd like 'em for warmth, but she hates having anything on her neck. Never knew that about her. But overall Mom was very happy and had a good holiday.
