Don't know about west coast, but I see a fire just west of me by about 3'.

Years ago there was a discussion about timber management on the Wayne NF. I’m not sure if it was here or the other site. Someone claimed that the National Forest Service had tried for years to harvest timber in areas of the Wayne but tree huggers kept stopping it with lawsuits. Anyone know anything about the accuracy of this?
