Does it take two weeks to test? I don’t know much about this, but a two week later release seems a bit late.

I guess it takes time to get the mosquitoes from the traps to the testing facility then do the actual test....maybe there is a back log.

West Nile is everywhere. The counties that find it are typically the ones that put the most effort into looking for it. Protect yourself from mosquitoes when you can. Simple as that.
