What a day

Shit dude that sucks... Sorry to hear that. Honestly if I was running into these issues, I'd be SOOOO tempted to yank that stand of his that he has up. I've never stolen a stand and have walked upon tons of stands but that's just getting ridiculous.

Haha just saw the post that he just relocated it. What an idiot. Glad you recovered it!
 
I would be he thinks YOUR stand is on HIS land or something. How stupid could someone be to steal the landowners stand and put it in another tree on the landowner's land? People amaze me, but it usually isn't a deer hunter that shows that kind of stupidity...at least not one that has been in the outdoors very much at all. You hear about stands being stolen all the time and I suppose most of those are taken by other hunters... crap, now I hate almost everyone again. :)
 
The guy is an idiot. Not only does he have/had stands on my place but also the other neighbors place. We were trying to get him on film placing stands or whatever and we got him leaving my place on his quad with his bow. This guy has 30 acres near my place but chooses to hunt all three properties though. Ive got the conservation officers involved, better then me ending up doing something stupid you know. Hopefully he'll get the point now. I doubt it but I'm hopeful. The CO was coming out to meet me and actually caught him on the neighbors place then he came back at night on his quad but i ran him off in my underwear. Thankfully he's not a big ol boy. Lol.

Since he wont admit that they are his stands i'll be keeping the ones on my place. Works out for me.
 
You oughta see if he scratched his initials into em somewhere. Pretty sure you have a case that holds water if you have his stands on your property with his initials.
