What did you do for the deer today?

Giles. Just saw article about Matt Brunswick getting some trophy deer but in the article I thought I read he had killed 170 two different years and 160 another year. Tell me I misunderstood because I was disgusted beyond words. I was raised you eat what you kill. No one can eat 170 deer?? Is there no limit in Ohio? Please enlighten me. Thank you.

Cole came over helped me put up a blind and brush it in today to use for some late season bowhunting with my Granddaughter Ariana.
Should be fun as we went all out on the brushing in and the inside should be nice and comfortable for her.

Learned a lesson. Probably could have killed a deer by accident. Didn't even cross my mind it would happen. I put tomatoe cages around pines I planted in the spring. I found one 75yrds away from where I planted with a rub on the tree next to it. Sorry deer. Tree still got snapped in half.

Put out some golden nuggets this morning prepping for next weekend. After the heavy 15"+ we received last week, mother nature did some extensive hinge cuts.

started preping another natural ground blind for next season for the kiddos. I won't do much more to it as this will completely brush in around Labor Day. I've got to clear cut alittle bit but it will do the trick for free99... ill try to do some before and after pics.

That doe I gutted last night had twins. Got me thinking about this thread. I picked up 2 bags of corn, a bag of black sunflower seeds and 2 of those apple blocks for the boys. Probably need to get that stuff out and start thinking about minerals.
