I shoot an Elite Z28 because it's an awesome hunting bow. The axle-to-axle is fairly short and it has a very forgiving 7 3/4" brace height. It's not speed demon by any means, but it still throws my Flatlines 298-300 fps... generating nearly 80 ft/lbs of KE. What it lacks in speed, it makes up for in the silky-smooth draw cycle and rock-solid back wall. A great-looking, great-performing bow with an amazing warranty to back it up. The Limbdriver rest is about as simple a design as it gets when it comes to dropaways. Simple is good for a hunting bow. The armortech sight is built like a tank and the micro-adjust pins are really where it's at, IMO.
This setup works really well for me and I don't have much for complaints. It's definitely the smoothest-drawing bow I've ever shot, but I've yet to get my hands on a Strother bow.
