What gun(s) are you taking to deer camp this year?

Shot the Savage 220 today as well as the Henry 44mag. Hmmm . . . .Might be a tough decision come game time. Depends on where I am hunting. If bow stands with sub 50yd range I believe the open sights on the Henry are going to get the go ahead.
Henry 44mag. Not pulling it out of the safe to take a brighter pic. Plus a brighter pic would show the dust even more than it already does. When are you getting your butt over here to finish cleaning my house Bigslam? lmao

Marlin .444 with handloads
Remington 870 20ga, with norinco scope
Remington 1100 12ga with Leupold scope
Remington 870 12g with scope
T/C Contender 44mag with 2X Leupold, pacmyhr grips, may use .430 JDJ barrel w/Redfield.
Remington 700 ML 50 cal with Bushnell scope
T/C Renegade 54 cap T/C scope and maxiballs
T/C Renegade 50 or 54 flintlocks iron sights for Pa.
all of above have killed deer.

remington genesis muzzy. had this gun for at least 6 years and still haven't taken a deer with it. I have a CVA accura in the cabinet id like to use, but I'm determined to take one with the remington first. I normally take the scoped 870, and it will probably be in the truck, but the muzzy needs to bark this year.

Went to range today to confirm the 444 marlin and a 357 MAX. It is amazing how well these H&R handi rifles shoot. The 444 shot a 3/4", 3 shot group with the Hornady Superformance ammo, there are some pricey rifles that struggle to do that, just amazing for a inexpensive firearm. This gun did not like the Hornady leverevolution as well last year. It shot it pretty good into solid 2" groups but the Superformance really tightened every thing up.
If you ever have an opportunity to pick up a 444 marlin H&R I would encourage you to do so. It is in my opinion the best legal caliber for Ohio. It is not anywhere as pretty as a nice lever action but they sure do shoot.
The max sucked it shot 1-1/8"

I love my Marlin .444 and it spits out the .265 gr. Hornady Leverevelutions pretty good. 1.5-2" at 130 -150 yards.
