Seeing the post Jesse just made in the book club thread made me think "i wonder who else has caught an artic grayling?" Which then made my brain towards i wonder what people have caught that they are most proud of?

I am pretty sure I have caught every species ohio has to offer. I have also caught every fresh water species alaska and Idaho have to offer.

Never really been into the salt water thing, although I do love me some halibut fishing.

That said, I think my top 3 would be my king salmon from Alaska, sturgeon from Idaho, and one huge artic char i couldnt fit thru the ice hole.

What says you?

I am with Giles. But the graying is my nemesis. I have caught everything from sailfish to king salmon and everything in-between. But the artic graying has eluded me every time. I have multiple fish ohios and many citations from NC. I think I may hold the unverified red salmon record as well......lol. thats what I tell everyone. I even had a grandslam of salmon in AK all in one day. But that damn graying haunts me. I will be back next summer to advenge..... stay tuned!

I have a very limited history of catches and have never caught a fish anywhere but Ohio. My catch list includes: bluegill, sunfish, channel cats, strippers, largemouth bass, crappie, and yellow perch. I'm just a guy who fishes, not a fisherman, but I sure would like to catch a smallie and a warreye someday!
