What is with a van full of hunters?

While Muzzleloader hunting yesterday, I witnessed a couple of vans that let out 15 or so hunters. The driver stayed in the van, keeping it running as it was cold, and then 20 minutes later, this group of hunters came back out of the woods down the road, the van moved down and picked them up, and off they went. Two hours later, I saw this same thing happen in another plot of public land. It appears this group of people "pushed" the area, with no regard to others that were already hunting in those spots. Any ideas?

What you saw was a yoder toter full of Amish. It is beyond me how people who don't pay taxes have free use a public land.

Welcome! Go ahead and register and join in on the madness. We'll take it easy on you for a couple days.....promise! For real, be glad to have you around.

They have killed all,the deer on property they own. avoid the Brush Creek WA in Jefferson County.
They also use every name possible for drawings for Plumbrook, Ravenna arsenal Drawings etc since many of do not have ID's

You think that some form of identification would be required to enter those facilities. I'm going to enter next year with the name El Chapo Yoder and see what happens.

Surprisingly no. They require a background check that merely consists of a form asking for your info, previous addresses, etc. No real need for personal ID.

How do they obtain a hunting license without identification?

No idea. Good question. I know when this "new" licensing system was put in place, it was a major point of contention for the Amish... Not having ID, or a number associated with their name, etc.

You’ve got the stache for it.... [emoji23]

Look out this year...going for broke.
