Buddy sent this from this morning, near Ann Arbor. First three birds had bands!

Ha! That's how it goes for some guys! I bet I could hunt them for years and not get a banded bird. Congrats to him though. I'm curious as to what the odds of that are

Probably all 3 were banded together this summer. Hard to see all the band numbers but looks like the last 3 digits all start with a 5. Likely from same band string. Either way, frickin awesome. Wish I could pull that off.

Some guys have all the luck . Seems like our average is somewhere around 1 out of every 90 geese we kill is banded
