Dang Joe, as soon as you described the pain I instantly said it was nettles but you said it tingled?!? Like Brock said, I've never felt tingling just the sensation of 100 sweatbees stinging my skin at the same time followed by burning. I never seen a nettles plant that tall before.

Some fuzzy caterpillers nail me like that. They like to fall down inside the shirt. It feels like fiberglass shavings, burns for a while, and leaves welts.
