Simplicity this evening.... Taco salad.... Ala doe be down.... Simple, delicious and filling....

I've had it before, it really isn't that bad but I don't go out of my way to buy it.

Our families favorite way to make spam is the way our mom did way back in the 60's to present day.

Fry it in butter like most do but mix brown sugar and yellow mustard into a brownish dark paste and add to frying spam till it makes a gooey sticky and bubbly sauce. Continue frying till both sides are crisp and done then lay two slabs side by side on a slice of bread for a sandwich then spoon some of the sauce onto the slices before adding the top slice of bread. The perfect side with this is kraft mac&cheese. This is a cheap dinner for a family of 4.

To make paste start with 1 cup of brown sugar and a generous squirt or two of yellow mustard. Mix till it's a brown and gooey paste. We also switched to Spam Lite which has less fat/cal and tastes just as good! Stay away from Treet or any other alternative...they do suck!

Went bought potatoes and scooped out half of the potatoe out and added ground pepper, salt, steak rub, cheese, and bacon.

The wife left me for the evening. I asked what about supper ? She replied, that's my problem since I didn't wanna go with her. I saw this coming all day.... cedar planked salmon / lemmon juice combo , w/ fresh broccoli covered in cheddar. Heh heh.

Not sure what to call this, but I think leftover hoagie would be appropriate. Last night was meatloaf, the night before coneys.

It basically turned into a open faced meatloaf, coney supreme. If I ever start a food truck this will be the staple sammich!!!!!
