What's good TOO?

Enjoy the weekend Buckmaster & Finelyshedded! My little girl turns 6 in a few more days but her party is tomorrow. House full of kindergarten girls for a princess tea party / dance party. I'm gonna need ear plugs. :smiley_crocodile:

2 soccer games today and the usually hectic Saturday... Good times.

Happy Saturday All!!!

I had a great 3 day weekend! I am working 4-10's in Cincinnati and home on Thursday night. I got a lot done with the extra day.

I actually got most of my garden planted on Saturday. 24 tomatoes, bell peppers, Hungarian waxes, sweet potatoes and 2 rows of corn. Awesome day to plant! I still have more to get planted, but it feels good to at least get it started. I might add, it's a fun hobbie and one that puts food on my families table.

Sounds good Ron! When I finally get a place that has room for a garden, I'll buy the beer and you can come down one day and show me the ropes on planting a garden!!!

I spent most of the day outside yesterday servicing my mower, spraying weeds, cleaning up landscaping, mowing 2 acres, weedeating, and splitting/stacking firewood. It was nice to get a few things done on my ever growing list! Baseball will be over in a couple of weeks, so I'll finally have time to tackle the bigger projects!

Anytime Jesse..... I really enjoy planting a garden. I'll gladly show you what I know.

Sounds like you had a good productive weekend TOO!

Nothing against Ron, but if I had my choice of gardener person to pick their brain it would be Badger. That dude has had some killer gardens in the past. I hope he finds time to do one this year. I know he is busy.

Ron's garden always looks pretty dang good after I visit him....fuggar usually has me pulling weeds by the 5 gallon buck fulls! Rotflmao

Ole bro does pretty dang good considering how often he's on the road though and his harvests yield some dang good grub!

Haha, Ricky! You've been put to work pulling weeds a couple times. Lol. I don't have to anymore, cause I cover up with my grass clippings. It really keeps the weeds at bay and retains moisture, creating humus. That's my secret to having a nice looking garden.

As for being an expert? Nada! Just a fun hobbie with hard work.

I don't have hardly any room for a garden where I live but I do put out 6-8 tomato plants and 3-4 hills of cucumbers. The damn deer made my tomato plants look like telephone poles last year so I put up a little defense. They won't get to them this year. Lol

As overheard this morning...

My wife - Caleb did you get your reading homework done after breakfast?

Caleb - No.

Wife - Why not!? I told you to do it because you didn't do it last night!?

Caleb - Well Dad didn't say so, and Dad's the boss!!

Me - rotflmao

Wife - :tantrum:
