Just shared a favorite past time with my 10 year old daughter last night.

It was the opening of frog season and I good friend and I gigged a couple ponds last night and my daughter Mattie tagged along. The frogs were bellowing everywhere and the weather was perfect. We collected 20 big croakers and stopped at 1:00am. Mattie did great and never complained about being tired.

I was one proud Father! What an awesome way TOO start Fathers Day weekend.

That's a great experience. Memories like those will last for lifetimes. One day Mattie will have a little one or two and I'm sure she will share those experiences with them. Good stuff!

My son has to work tomorrow so he is going to take me golfing and to lunch for Father's Day today. It's gonna be a great day, nothing like quality time with your youngins.

Good stuff Ron! Enjoy the golf Don!!!

My alarm was supposed to go off at 6:45 so I could get up and work. The kid starting crying at 6:30, so I changed we diaper and let mom feed her. When she finished, we laid her between us and took a family nap until 9. It was a great way to start my first Father's Day weekend!

We're up here in Sidney for my oldest daughters first volleyball tourney of the season as a family. I'm tired as all get out(24 hours with no sleep) but couldn't stay home to miss it. They won their first game winning both matches so now its on to the next team later.

Gonna be a long day but its really great to see her and her teammates play together. Great way TOO start my Fathers Day weekend!

Dan, your right, my ass is burning on these bleachers but I think it's keeping me awake. Lol

Jesse, I remember those naps with the little warm bundle laying between us....a great moment as a parent. Enjoy buddy.

Agreed. I remember laying there just amazed. Total awe as you sit there and take it in. I recall feeling as if I could never love anything more. Glad you are taking the time to enjoy moments such as this Jesse. Next thing you know she will be 11 and on her way to Myrtle Beach with her best friend's family like Graci is right now. Blink of an eye brother and you will be there.

Hoping the rain holds out. Graci is out of town. Wife is at work. I told the boys we were going to the races tonight. Kids in free, so for the $10-12 admission for me it is pretty cheap entertainment and we enjoy the dirt track racing on occasion. Funny how you go once a year or every couple years and now we are hitting it two weeks in a row. Never been to Waynesfield before so it should be interesting.

Rain held out. Pretty good racing but it seemed to drag on forever with the boys getting restless. Rain held off and we were only sprinkled on a few times. The kid down the road is in his second year of sprint car racing. I told him I would throw him some money to help out a little. I was hoping he would have a decent show. New engine and only has a few races in on a whole new car this year. He had a guy get into him in the heat races. Last chance qualifier he was all over the place. Something must have gotten bent that he didn't see. He didn't make the main. Had another buddy racing that was looking great in the heat race until some jackhole got into him as well. He missed the main tonight also. It was still a good night of racing but it is always nice to have a familiar face to root on.

Picked up two retaining wall jobs and 3 more lawns today. When it rains it pours.

My right hand man is really impressing too. He's a hard workin mofo and brings his 'A' game at all times. Very knowledgable, dependable, and just flat out hungry. He's just wrappin up a 2 year degree in 'landscaping'. We are clickin and feeding off each others energy. Sky is the limit. I havent been in this type of groove for a while

Good to hear Gprdon!

Slept in a little this morning and woke up to my smiling little girl. That smile makes every day Fathers Day! I'm loaded to the gills with quad, stands, cameras and the fixins. Headed to the farm to finally get some work done there. That's a great gift!
