Good stuff J and Cole. I love that area! It sure will make you lungs and legs burn dragging a deer! Lol
Once you get behind them beaver ponds, you really get a different feeling. That's a neat spot.

It looked like it would be a real awesome funnel with the ridges on both sides. I wasn't sure how far it went back on state land and didn't want to trespass since I didn't have gps and wasn't sure.
You parked right outside of the red on that hard right turn. You can see the pond in this pic.

I believe I made it pretty far back. I got to the point where I had the two ridges converging and wasn't sure if the guy that has his land posted all along that road owned the ridge closer to the road.

I'm not sure the name of the ridge. All I know as soon as I made that sharp left turn from Scatter Ridge and made my way down the hole to the trail head the ridge to the right was all posted. Right up against the road. Then when I went down the trail the posted ridge was on my right parallel to the trail for a bit.
Oh, I was thinking the back side of the beaver ponds. That trail basically runs down the property line on that side.
