Well, tomorrow marks 34 years of matrimony for the wife and I.... 38 years together with 34 of wedded bliss 😂

Lots of ups and downs, too and froms and a lot of time spent apart due too work (and some tree stand time) in between... Wouldn’t trade it for anything....

Congratulations! (y)

I'm 10 years behind. I agree, "wouldn't trade it for the anything"!

I lucked out in finding me a good Ohio lady.

Our boss pays for several of us to attend the Whitetails Unlimited banquet every year and I’ve been fortunate enough to win a few guns over the years. We went last night and this makes gun #3, Savage Axis in .270 Winchester. I’m digging it, can’t wait to shoot it

Not really, it’s basically a big fundraiser via raffles for free shit. They raffle a ton of guns and other gear and have live and silent auctions. Free beer and food so it’s a good time. I would probably never go if I had to pay on my own but as a good employee I let my boss pay my way in lol.

Spent 4 hours cutting up lay downs at a buddy’s place that had rotator cuff surgery earlier this summer, I’ve been rabbit hunting there for over 2 decades and it’s the least I can do for him. We’re both retired and worked together for 25 years...
Lots more too cut and will probably be done sometime this winter....

Came home got cleaned up, popped some Motrin and got ready for the wife and I’s anniversary dinner. Went too a nice restaurant had a great meal and desert and then headed to a buddy’s 50th surprise birthday party. Had a great time catching with some friends we hadn’t seen in a while and got caught up with everything.....

Home and enjoying some adult beverages... Tomorrow we go to another friends place and retrofit a new trolling motor too his boat... Should be an interesting day to say the least lol.... Afterwards we’re heading to a farm pond that’s well known for 5lb + bass so hopefully some pictures will follow..... Wife is actually sleeping as I type this as she and the daughter continue to get ready for her wedding this September....

Busy times but enjoying life.... Really looking forward too deer season and some quiet tree stand time 😂
Oh, and I hate fuggin wasps....

After 15 months working at Whirlpool as a temp service employee, I will be hired in next Tuesday. So I finally get some paid vacation, a nice pay raise, and I can finally start bidding on different jobs to get my ass of 2nd shift and back on 1st. Can't wait to get a normal life back and be able to spend more time with the family, and treestand

Congrats Ryan! You know it would have been 6 months if you cheered for the Buckeyes. ;)
Funny you mention that. Over the last 6 months, they've brought in a couple UM grads to our management. Our business is booming. And if anyone knows anybody with a GED or diploma who wants a job, we are direct hiring up to 200 people at our findlay plant. Immediate insurance, vacation, everything.

Wouldn’t a UM degree be the equivalent of a GED?
