Well my Son Ryan got his orders for his first duty station and it's Shaw AFB SC He's pumped and so am I as I'll have a winters getaway to go fishing hahahahaha..... He texted me earlier before I left work saying that he got orders to Alaska...... I was pumped about that as well he not so much or as he let on.... Fast fwd I walk in the door and the wife is in tears as soon as she sees me.... I'm like what's wrong and she is almost incoherant saying something like he's going to be eaten by an effin bear or run over by a rampaging moose rotflmao I'm rolling at that point but she fails too see the humor in her statements rotflmao

Well after like an hour I get a text telling me he's just messing and he got SC so I'm you better tell your mom because she's been crying since I got home..... I even took a picture of her bawling and texted it too him..... Well he felt bad (a little) and broke the news too her and now all is good in the household rotflmao Yeah he gets his sense of humor from her too rotflmao What goes around comes around hahahahahahaha

Needless to say I'm both relieved and happy for him, he wanted there Charleston or Moody and got one of his top three picks.....

Awesome news J. How far is he going to be from his sister ? Sounds like a good family reunion on a beach somewhere this summer lol.

Just don't tell your wife about the sharks in the water or any other fish that could eat him lol.

So I'm shooting with the my youngest last night (keep in mind that he just got this bow yesterday and he has shot all of 3 arrows or so) and as I'm treading an arrow through his hostage rest I stop. My son, Micah, asks "What are you doing Dad?". After pausing I tell him that I thought I heard a turkey in the woods. He looks right at me and says "Are you going to want me to shoot it?":smiley_coolpeace:

What's good?

I finally got moved in to my new office and am almost completely done settling in. I have the window open (couldn't do that in the old office) and I'm enjoying TOO on my new 24" LED monitor I bought as a move-in gift to myself! LOL! On the company plastic of course!!! My office is a little smaller here thanks to an ugly bump out for a support beam, but it's still an office and I'll take it!

With this great weather, I'm outta here early today and taking the boys fishing tonight. It'll be our first trip of the year. They have been begging me to take them since the little ice we had came off the ponds.

Today we received a letter from the Cleveland Eye Bank confirming two successful cornea transplants from Zach's donation's. I was sad and very happy at the same time. So far there's been confirmation on bone marrow, bone, ligament, skin, heart valves and others.

My daughter Britney brought the grand kids out today and I made her tuna casserole for her birthday which was yesterday. We bought her one of those tow behind buggy things for her bike that the kids ride in. It also doubles as a stroller.

Shot the bow today and I'm getting closer to my natural anchor with the recurve. I can hold it at full draw for a good 3-5 seconds and grouping well.

Last note, I wore shorts for the first time in Ohio in March!

Dale, TNC is one of my favorite dishes.... much to my kids dismay hahaha. Every time I was on the road for longer than a week I would get it for my coming home meal hahaha kids hated it though lol.... haven't had that in a couple of years..... may have to bring that up too the wife hahaha

Dale, that's bittersweet man.

In regard to the shorts, we have had 3 scrimmages and I've worn shorts to all of them. That's never happened in my 12 years as a head coach. In fact, I bet the other 11 years I had a coat on for every scrimmage.

Shorts and a t-shirt sitting on the front porch swing at 10pm on March 21. Is this Ohio or a Twilight Zone re-run? Something fishy is going on. Can we expect snow in September or October now? Will the leaves change in July/August instead of Oct/Nov? Weird, but TOO good!

Took advantage of the weather this evening and took two of the kids out for a quick shed hunting excursion. Hoped to find the match to the one I found awhile back. No luck on the sheds, but we got to see a turkey in full strut about 30yds behind a hen in the middle of a plowed field. They thought that was pretty cool and so did I!
