Good news bad news kind of situation. Bad news, my Uncle has been a diabetic for a LONG time. Hes had 2 kidney transplants but stopped taking care of himself. Constantly in and out of the hospital. He passed last night. Good news, no more suffering for him or especially my Aunt. She is a fuckin saint. There is not going to be a viewing or service. Straight to the hot box and being cremated. Its sucks for sure. Hes in Oklahoma city and was an hour from where I was stationed at Ft. Sill. So I got to go see him all of the time. He was there for both times I left for Iraq and both times I came home from Iraq. He had a very unique raspy voice and will be sorely missed. R.I.P. Uncle Maury.
