Oldest is on his 8th grade Washington DC trip. Obviously with the shutdown, their agenda was altered but they look to be having a good time. 2 of the fellas are Scouts and got to do the wreath ceremony.

I was stationed at Ft Myer Virginia as a MP and we provided security for the wreath laying ceremonies and also patrolled the Iwo Jima memorial which is just outside of Wright gate at Ft Myer. Those pics sure do bring back memories.

This was probably the best day I've had getting shit done I've had in years thanks to a rented mini. I dug a trench and tore out an old summer kitchen foundation yesterday. filled in the trench moved/ cleaned up so much stuff today. Stacked my wood pile a little higher. Had a pile I couldn't push to its destination so old red got abused. I'm not sure if my tailgate is functional anymore as I bent it to hell the first load and i haven't tried putting it back on yet. I still had to shovel a ton of material but this thing saved me months of struggling doing stuff by hand. I'd be king of the world if I owned equipment or at least I wouldnt have to use pry bars and shovels non stop and wood cutting would be life changing with equipment. I'm debating running and getting more diesel as I have until morning to turn it in. I'm whooped though.
