Felt good to not have anything to do today. Can't tell you the last time I truly had a free day. Enjoyed my coffee and a few hunting videos this AM, then did a bunch of chores around the house so I could relax with a clear mind this evening. Made some corn muffins and chili, a batch of brownies, and mixed up 10#s of jerky. Watched a couple great football games with the HHBC 4OT National Championship and Army vs. Navy. Watching the snow pile up and the trail cam pics piling in was the icing on the cake. Funny the things you feel gratitude for as you get older!

Was that the SC vs Prairie View game?

If so what’d you think about that last TD SC made?
 
Last weekend while visiting our son and his family we went to Carlsbad state park to watch the sunset. Coincidentally some of our granddaughter, Raena’s, classmates were there. Raena asked me for some money to buy a bag of candy to split so I gave her $5. A little later Katie saw Raena sharing the candy with all the girls and asked her where she got it. One of the other girls replied “Some old man gave us money” 🙄😂
