What's good TOO?

Heading out to hang one last set of sticks and a receiver here in just a few. Probably do a little scouting also if the rain hits while I'm out there. I know it's "TOO late," but that's how I roll!

Good luck man. I'm trying to get out of the office to check cams, but they have a September birthdays "party" at 3 and I'm one of them. Hope it doesn't last long!!!

Well, got my clothes smoked yesterday and shot my bow so today I went out into the rain and moved one of my portable sets to another tree set up for a N to NE wind and did some light pruning. It's the same stand I took the hair off my number 1 target buck last year. I plan on hunting this set either Sat. Or Sun. Or both. It feels good TOO have that done!

Good deal Ric!

I'm showered, in clean clothes and smoked up on my way to check some cams in the rain. Won't get them all checked, but should get the important ones pulled. Hopefully I have something to share later!!!

Buddy in Colorado sent me this pic of him in Elk country. Said he has been seeing them everyday out mountain biking. I can't make it this year so that sucks. But I have an open invitation and a place to stay. Can't wait!

We would have to sleep outside but that would be ok with me. His condo is tiny. He lives in Vail and is not rich...yet. He married a Brit, tree hugger with loaded parents. See is surprisingly cool with me hunting though.

Got my brother in law in town for work and about to put him to work. He's helping me put up one more ladder stand for my pops. It's a little late to be doing this but is worth the gamble, and the perfect day for it.

He seems pretty interested in giving deer hunting a try this year, so this might light his fire a little bit. I hope to b putting him on a doe some time in the late season.

He seems a little nervous to hit the woods with me and the old man both armed. I tell him as long as he keeps big sister happy no accidents should occurr.

The kids and I will be packing for Deer Camp tonight. They are excited about going hunting with me this weekend while the weather is still reasonable.
I'll be doing short one hour ground blind xbow hunts with a 4 and 7 year old. Needless to say I'll have quite the handicap.
Hope we don't educate too many deer. I'll be trying the Pecan smoke for good measure. For those that are willing to come into range; get Raged.
