What's good TOO?

Picked up another hunting property for this year! 2 years ago I had one spot, now I have 4. They're all pretty small but it's going to be fun bouncing around depending on wind and when I need a change of scenery.

I agree. Dave's sister is hot lol.

Love it! Telling your son you are proud of him is more important than saying you love him IMO. It was for me anyways. I'd rather hear that from my dad to this day.
 
My wife and I are VERY strict and expect a lot from our kids. Our oldest has been making us question our path. The letter (actual hand written and mailed to Maddy) from her teacher to her was something Patty and I needed more than she did. Lol

Feel free to read but the short version is that she is handling situations incredibly and is listening/watching what we try to model.

I've been swamped lately. No end in sight. One option: Put my nose to the grindstone and trudge through it. Getting firewood for winter is on the list and I am behind. Today I picked up 3 dump truck loads. 3 BIG loads. Still need to cut to length, split, and stack, but I scored a crapload of oak!

Going out on a limb here giles but I'm pretty good at reading people. Your wife doesn't care for your sister. Lol.
 
Sean and Charles you're doing it right .....

Having the moment to tell your kids you're proud of them is a great highlight in life.... Luckily I've been able to tell both my kids this.... My parents weren't the type to give accolades and both passed before our kids were older and they could see the good job they did of raising us all....
 
What a week! Just walked in the door. Chainsaws are ready for tomorrow again. Finished a big seeding job today AND got a crapload of firewood split and stacked. It is easy to feel buried in the work in front of us at times. The last couple weeks I have just dug in and cranked out some serious work. Still have a mess of it in front of me, but I am whittling away at the list. Hope you guys have a great Friday and great weekend ahead of you!
 
Good stuff Phil, keep at it! I'm off tomorrow except for a company meeting/luncheon at 10:30. After that I gotta get a couple things finalized for deer season. Pretty excited about tomorrow though, not the company meeting but my plans after lol.
