What's good TOO?

"good" is sitting on the shore of a little fishing hole, listening too the birds and the moving water, watching a couple catfish rods.
all the while smelling the scent of wild onions coming off of your jacket because you wore it the day before, in the woods, waiting for a gobbler to strut into your setup.
 
Watched "Sandlot" with my son yesterday.... I forgot what a great movie that was, and laughed my butt off next to a 6 year old for a few hours in the afternoon. Life is good.

Yer killin' me Smalls!!
 
Home to see my family for a week.
Feels good to sleep in my own bed and scratch my ol dogs head.
 
Placed the Rivers Edge order today, saved some money by swapping a bastard of a transmission line on the sweeping truck, had my buck scored, and scored myself. Can't complain about that. Much better than how my morning started.
 
Successfully gutted my upstairs bathroom tonight and I'm ready to start laying hardi-board and tile tomorrow afternoon... I think it's really going to look great when it's all said and done!
 
It's Thursday.... forecasting a Sunny weekend.... now that's TOO good!

Another note.... the wife text me on lunch and said "hey you're gonna have to occupy yourself this weekend, I'm busy helping with prom and babysitting on Sunday".

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy spending time with my wife... but all I can think about is the forecasted sunshine... and walking every piece of land I have permission for looking for Morels, putting out minerals, and hanging cameras. Then grilling out and campfire with the buddies in the evening.

This ought to be a good weekend!

Nothing wrong with that, I think all of us married fellas know exactly what you're talking about.

Well, looks like I'm gonna be a papa. We go Tuesday to verify the 5 positive tests over the past week, wow am I gonna have to grow up :)

Caught the first bass and crappie of the year on Tuesday in the parents pond....always a good feeling!

Hey congrats man that is awesome!!! Hope everything goes well for you guys!
 
My oldest turns 7 today and he has a baseball game tonight! I'm hoping he gets a hit! His swing has gone from super awkward to really smooth and level in a matter of weeks...now we are working on "seeing" the ball (keeping his eye on it). I think before the season is over he is going to have some nice hits under his belt. Can't wait for this evening!

Thanks for the text asswipe! Congrats to you and Tevin brother! You guys will make great parents!!! This means you gotta come down for a weekend of golf, fishing, and beers before it's TOO late!!! And I'll return the favor and come up there!

My boy turned 7 in March and his first game was supposed to be tonite but just got postponed due to water on the field. I was really looking forward to watching him swing the bat tonite and see if our work in the backyard is paying off.
 
Congrats to the weekend off Drake! I was thinking "you better enjoy those times now before you have kids" and I read 5cent's post.

Awesome news 5cent! I am happy for you. Another generation for you to pass the knowledge onto!
