The IPs were nearly the same, so it is very likely it was the same human using two different usernames. There's literally teams of people all over the globe getting paid to post this kind of content. I've tracked usernames and content to as many as 9 other forums before, so it's a problem for lots of forums these days. I'd argue we're the quickest to get it pulled in most cases and that not all spammers are created equal. We've caught a couple that were true pros and knew how to blend in.

I'd imagine that the big social media platforms would love to shut these down or control them too.

I'd imagine they also have a push for trolls and such. Take the fun out of owning and operating a forum and buy them out. Shut them down

So what is the ploy, have someone get in to monitor content and then have random others get in to post the spam? Don't quite get why they would come on and make a general comment post but not become the spammer themselves. And yes, I did think it could be the same guy but just didn't make sense to post the exact same thing that got him kicked off the first time.

The greatest one was when this one guy tried to blend in by asking about peoples thoughts on going into a active coyote den.😂😂
Still can't get rid of that one. Keeps popping back up. 😁

And then there was Coyote Ken. Unclear whether he was real or a troll. Didn't seem to be a traditional spammer anyway.
