My dad has been gone for 37 years….Mom for 30 years…. 
Where does the time go?

June of 82 - 40 years, but both live within my daily memories constantly.
I was given no guarantee in life, and life is truly short, that I know all to well, so I try get the most out of it as best as I can because I believe you only live once.
Regardless of my short time with both my parents, somehow I was given everything I needed for life in order to survive independently and responsibly at a young age and all throughout my life. Those early lessons equally taught by both to me when I was just a young boy were ingrained within me and have a profound effect on my daily life still today. Trust me, I think of my parents and my kids daily. They are the people in my life that I try to please the most, even if they're no longer walking among the face of the earth anymore. It's just who I am.
