Where to eat?

Beer Barrel seems to be growing. They were bought out maybe 10yrs ago and have expanded. I know there are 2 in Lima, now one in St Marys, and I believe one in Findlay. I heard they were opening one around Columbus somewhere too. They have a real diverse menu. Pizza is what they started out doing. We don't go there often, because they are always slammed.

We don't have a Frickers. I think they might be more of a chain, but in a smaller area. NW Ohio mainly I believe. They are nice and kids eat free.
 
Frickers is a franchise, a friend of ours owns the one in Fremont. I tried talking her into opening one in Anchorage for years. Not many places for wings up that way.
 
I used to really like going to Blackberry Corners, it's still good with the new owners, but used to be better. Pizza joint out on 579 close to route 2. Ottawa county

The kind of pizza you have to eat with a fork.
 
I've been craving a hot sub and couldn't remember where I had a good one in this area. It just hit me, only place around here worth eating a real sub would be Brock's place in Greenfield. I probably should test out some of the other food he offers TOO.

BTW, when I passed you yesterday in Gfield, I meant to flip you off but waived only out of habit ... from being nice to neighbors and customers I like.

Lol, I didn't realize it was you until you went by. I said to my wife "we don't k ow any fags that drive those" then it hit me...oh yea, that's Brock! Lmao, true story.

If her car is done at the body shop tomorrow, we will come in for lunch.
 
I would buy a big dodge and put some after market toys on it, but I was born with a penis.

Dave, found a place right up your alley that shouldn't be too far for ya! Look up Plain Folks Cafe located in Pleasant Plain Ohio off St RT 132. Saturday night we had a nice meal and listened to a blue grass band out of C-bus, Fox and Hound! Good food and entertainment! Check out their menu online.

They have a great review on Yelp. Gonna try their breakfast one of these days!

Thanks Ric! That doesn't look far at all, I'm about 20 minutes down 28 from blanchester. Been wanting to take my wife on a date, sounds like just the place.
 
Good deal Man! It's just the place! If you go to the menu link you'll get a little background on the place. They have like several varieties of grilled cheese sandwiches. I got the steak hoagie sub sammich and took a bite of my daughters ham/pineapple grilled cheese and both were delicious! Their breakfast menu looks AWESOME, TOO bad they stop serving at 11:30am...lol

Finally didn't have a bunch going on before work, so I blew off getting my hair cut to go see Brock. I've had his subs and pizza, but wanted to try something else. I made the right choice with the calzone!

I would suggest stopping by his place if ever in the area. I'm well aware now of why he gets all the fishing reports. That hit the spot and I'm sure after a morning on the lake, it'd be even better.

I told myself I was only going to eat half of it and save the other half for my lunch...well the next stop it was gone. I do t think I e ever had one that tasted so good and I know I've never had one that didn't have a plate full of grease after eating it. Well done brother!
