I'm going up to Buckeye Outdoors tomorrow morning if any of ya want an update on what ammo they have. I was up there last week and they had no 22 lr. They had 50 round boxes of 40 cal for $20.99 and that's about all I looked at.
Went to Buckeye Outdoors today and picked up some 22LR shells and a couple boxes of 40 cal. 22LR was $8.99 for 100 rounds of CCI Mini Mags limit 1 and $7.99 for 50 rounds of CCI Stingers limit 2. They had the 40 cal on sale for $18.99 for 50 rounds. That wasn't the main reason I went, just got lucky they had just got the 22LR in. I had went there to have a new sight mounted up on my bow. Happy Happy Happy!
Stopped at Bass Pro Rossford today. They had some 22 and a little of everything except:9,223 and 4buck. Probably missing a few others but it looked like a little of everything. Not a ton of any single round though.
Wednesday FFF had bricks of American Eagle HV .22 LR for ~$35, limit 1, probably had 15-20 bricks on the shelf. I did pick up 250 rounds of Blazer .40 S&W and a box of 500 Sierra matchking .224 80 grains bullets.
They had at least some ammo in most of the hard to find calibers. A reasonable selection of powder and bullets but primers were scarce except large rifle and shotgun.
Stopped at Gander at lunch today - employee was telling a guy next to me who was asking about .22 that every Friday morning (they get their trucks on thurs nite) it's like Black Friday and this morning was no exception - a line of 100+ people when they opened the doors....they give everyone numbers and all the .22 was sold out at noon. But there was SOME ammo in most every other caliber
Down here in appalachia things are nice and steady. The low limits are ridiculous, can only buy two 50 round boxes of 22 at a time. 1 box per brand of 9mm, etc.
