Good morning TOOzers! good lord its been a minute! I hope all is well with everyone. I've been real busy most of the year and haven't had much time for anything. Here's a quick rundown!
I was working down south back on the pipeline most of the winter this year and was pretty busy with that. I started having pain in my ear and jaw and thought i had an ear infection so the DR gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way. Well a few days later the pain was so bad i went to the ER and conned the DR into giving me and CT scan. Luckily my ear came back clean but they saw some suspicious nodules in my throat that they wanted and ultrasound of. Back downstairs i headed. Sure enough, I've got nodules in my throat. I asked what that means and they schedule me for a biopsy the following week. Go in for that and a few days later when I'm back in the ER because of the pain the DR reads my results. Cancer. Damnit. At the time i was 35 and pretty shocked. Still am actually. They got me scheduled for surgery a few weeks after that so i was laid up for a few days. I've gone in for a follow up and they believe its all gone. Yearly ill do a CT scan just to be sure. That's pretty much the bulk of my excitement for the year. lol. I've spoken to J a few times and he told me abut the meet ups but I've been kind of busy getting ready for the fall and working. I'm doing a pipeline project up here close to home for the next year so that's pretty damn awesome.
I'm hoping to hunt more this year than i did last year and I've got a few hunts scheduled that should be pretty damn fun!! I hope you all have a fantastic season and Ill be on here as much as i can! Next week i may try and start a thread for my hunts this year....Best of luck TOOville!! Mark
