Who Dey

There were plenty of missed calls. Its not just the calls that were made.

That late out of bounds hit hurt but one play doesn't cost the game. There were plenty of plays that should have been made that weren't. Completely unfair to blame the loss on one player. He played his ass off and did the right thing all night, and had one bad play. He's a rookie and will learn. Team should rally around him.

I find it odd that announcers will blame a play like that on being a “rookie” but last year as a college senior he was mature enough to not do that. I don’t buy the rookie thing on plays like that.

I think most agree it was a dumb hit. My point is that one play didn't lose the game. There are 4 quarters and dozens of plays. Its takes them all collectively to lose. Not to mention the kicker could have still nailed that FG, or the Cheifs still had opportunity for another play. And even if they miss the FG, all that meant was OT, which was another opportunity to potentially lose. The game didn't come down to that play. The bengals had a first down with 2 mins on clock and tie ball game and they couldn't do a darn thing. They had their chance.
